Who Am I Comments

To have an idea of yourself is more than most have. I have yet to try. A very good insight to self. To be put in a poem is excellent.++++10 I think poetry helps to discover not only self but life itself. So many benefits.

I was drawn to this piece by the title. This question is one of what I refer to as the deep questions. The questions that we must all face in this life, and the questions which many spend their lives attempting to avoid and hide from. Who am I? Why am I here? Is there a purpose to my life? Do I exist beyond the boundaries of this life? Certainly our writing flows from our original selves, the ones we really are, though it may take a lifetime for our conscious minds to understand the totality of our identity. A very straightforward poem, bringing us to the rim of deeper meditations. Well done, good poet. :) S
