Thats a great challenged respond outcome, the perspectives are broad and enough for you to understand who he is' from different eyes of view, including yourself...whatever you are....as long as you feel what people and you think, you can be better you as you are, as your own version that you comfortable to be and happy...because everyone deserves to have great life as himself/herself with no one excluded.
Soul, thank you so very much. And yes, agreed, being aware of others is crucial.
Thank you so very much, nice poem, thanks for sharing.
Well, when I first read this poem, I had to double check the author. And sure enough, it was M.J. Lemon. Another side of the profound poet. But it didn't surprise me all that much! We've had the privilege of seeing the different facets of your personality. The professor. The comedian. The sentimentalist. Well, you get the drift. As always, you've done an admirable job! Kudos! Hope to see this one as Poem Of The Day!
This poem resonated with me as when my mind is troubled during my morning walks the uphill bit is a real workout...and perhaps that is for the better. I too, have much to be thankful for.
And after the brief rest following a workout, the greater of life's workouts somehow seem more manageable. I appreciate your words, Simone.
well defined a personal poem though to write about yourself might be difficult, but you successfully put your it in your decent and magnetic tone. nice to read
Thank you, Muhammad. And that is a keen observation...yes, this was difficult to write. Thanks again.
You probe into the inside and outside of yourself to find out who you are - - - how others rate you and how you see yourself! I am sure at the end of this introspection, you have only reasons to be happy and satisfied in life, though minor corrections and occasional reminders are needed! Let this self complacence rule you in the rest of your life.
Thank you so much, Valsa. I did use the opportunity provided by the writing of this poem to remind myself that defining I isn't possible without others. Thanks again.
Saw this title and had to come see who you are.... and wow, you went after it from three different perspectives! That takes deep plundering of the soul... oh, my, how would other people write about us, to us..... Yikes! I think I opened a can of squirmy worms! Seriously though, thank you for giving us a look at the man behind the pen- -we know you as innovative and ingenious poet now we see a more rounded person... the one who needs reminding not to turn walks in the park into stressful hill climbs And I still have grade school friends who remind me of days spent on childish errands - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Thank you my friend, it's a pleasure meeting you!
And thank you so much, Susan....And I hope we'll get to know more and more...with each poem that arrives...
Please read great instead of grrat, it has been done inadvertently.
It is a grrat poem with edifying collocation and wonderful imaginary. Let me quote... I'll only have one love one great love forever anchoring me on earth. Many thanks dear Lemon for posting such a challangeable poem.
On reading this poem again I feel this is one of the best poems you have written.....! A three dimensional view into yourself...! Altogether it gives a comprehensive view into your likes and dislikes..... into your rounded personality...! Agree completely with the concluding lines. You have such abundance, so much good around you and should be thankful!
Thank you so very much, Valsa. So much appreciated. As with so much, this poem may be a work in progress. In a decade, it may be time to add, revise, update....Thank you again.
