I'll just have to say them I guess And hope that beside the great masters My efforts will not be in vain, excellent penning
In the light of their thorough address, Yet my thoughts cry out for expression; I'll just have to say them I guess And hope that beside the great masters........../// an inquisitive and philosophic touching poem; love it
Stunning and captivating expression. Beautiful poem on anticipation and humor.I want to quote some lines here.. . My efforts will not be in vain, And somewhere in the ages hereafter Someone will read them again And see the need through my prism And somehow recognize why Those words were torn from the bosom Of one so unworthy as I. Thanks for sharing.
Adeline, thank you for remarkable poem. You have Beautifully expressed what I so often feel. It's all been done before! Still I am compelled to write, all the while hoping I am an oringinal!

Unworthy? certainly not you Beautiful and so unique too Under this vast expanse of blue There is space for more poets too….. Great poem of yours Madam and keep on at it....I invite you to my page tooo....
All of the words I want to say Some other poet has said - I loved these 2 opening lines. So many beautiful poems Express what I want to express; For me to say it again - I also loved these one because, that is something mutual or common amongst poets. Thank you for sharing.
Well written Foster, enjoyable. In Indian Philosophy self-searching is of great importance. Going through ypur poem i too feel it is echoed. Thank you, sharing....
You are absolutely right when it comes to this poem. Everyone expresses their own thoughts feelings and words differently through poetry. I like how you use the use of imagery and rhyming to portray what you are saying. Keep up the good work!
Oh Adeline! I enjoyed this poem so much! ! ! you rite regular poems! i love them! it's such a rare gem here among verslibre! and it flows so light! oh delight! ! !
Everyone expresses their thoughts and emotions in their own unique way, and every voice wants to be heard! I have self doubt with my own writing all the time...I will think...hmmm... it's pretty good.... but then I read other poets works, that are much more complicated and intellectual, and I'm filled with self doubt, because my poems are very short and simple.... but.... I put it out there anyway, hoping that at least one person might be touched by it in some way...Lovely poem...just keep sharing those expressions!
Who Am I is the most pleasant poem I read this morning..It really touched my heart! I find it so sincere, so bright and so encouraging. Having read it, I remember how I began. I do remember my own first attempts of writing poetry, and that set of fears which oftenly accompanied me: of not proving myself skilled enough, of having approached themes and topics that belong to other poets/models, or are already established by others, of not being sure if I have succeeded in delivering the message or the meaning I wanted, and the list could go on and on. I guess that, in the end, we're all dealing with the same hardship. What is more important is that we all have a voice, and all we have to do is to work hard to perfect ourselves, in order to discover it. And yes, to leave our fears behind, to allow the true self to reveal who we really are in the poetry we leave for others to read. You are a remarkable poet. Thank you so much for letting me know of your work!
Brilliant write and that has been said, yet nothing is new in revelation and yet nothing is old by blossom, still newness bring freshness to bough, beautiful way of expression, thanks for sharing
You are really who you are with your works. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
amazing, nice work. The same thought I have and seems I have written something relating to this. that is why Solomon said there is nothing new under heaven. but yet, we must not silent because our mind is truly 'crying out for expression'
You are worthy, I bend my hands toward you with praise, and brilliants. Thanks Adeline.
Absolutely beautiful! You do justice to your Muse, Mr. Service. (smile)
An insightful and beautiful rendition of words with a tinge of humour. A well expressed thoughts and feelings. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
