White Tune Comments

Rating: 5.0

The sun's white tune is breaking windowpanes,
As if we never danced to last night's rains.
Your cold look cuts my coming at the knees.
Emptiness is as giant as elm trees.

'Emptiness is as giant as elm trees' and 'Boat of my soul, I give it to the wind'. These two lines speak volumes about White Tune. CP

Young lady, you posses the most unique ability to pen a tight, and succinct poem...yet deliver it with movement & imagework that satisfies the components of a much longer, epic-style work.Compendiousity is a rare skill & difficult skill to master, Sandra...BUT with that said, i hereby dub you: '''Master/Masteress(Mistress, somehow, just doesen't seem to fly here) Of Compendiousity'''! Excellent work, as always, lass. ~ FjcR ~

I very much sense the melody of nature in this, our movement to its tune.

Sometimes the sunlight can free one from the realm of dusk and rain, giving one the courage to commit the soul's journey to the winds of change. Faith, after all, supports such willingness. I found this poem very moving and very complex, Sandra. - Will

Each line is so shockingly beautiful and original! And, in the background is the rhapsody of the rhythm and the music's flow. Isn't it true, great poetry is achieved when the poet's soul dances with the words?

Human emotions - lonliness, emptiness intertwined with the natural elements, forming a tapestry of inconnectedness. Quite profound. 'Emptiness is as giant as elm trees.' This line is as powerful as it is true. I am sure that every sensitive soul has experienced this overwhelming feeling sometime or the other. Lovely write Sandra: Sensitive and written with a pen dipped in magic ink Take care

My Friend, Blue is too frail. Let the boat of my soul, Shall, in the wind, sail, Surely, but without fail. Let this bright sun, With its white tune, Break any windowpane Minding not the rain. Yet, Sandra gives a chance For me, with delight, to dance With all my love and grace To reveal my heart in many ways Your friendly look cuts And brings me to my knees. To forget my life's emptiness And drown me in happiness. Sandra, I used your own words, in reply to your sweet verse, as I found short of any other words to express my appreciation and thanks to you. Hope you won't mind my impertinence.

This rare tune of an inner soul brings glory and sorrow too, Sandra plucks the strings of the reader's lute well.
