As so often happens when the number players is limited, the options for meaning just get blown wide open. Is the tree being bent by the wind or, the wind being bent by the tree. You are the Wind, (And) so I shall be the Tree, Never fear, dear friend, I shall listen to thee. Is this and effectively coupling the characters or delaying the development of your meaning?
