Whispers Of Sratford...Beyond The Narrow Walls

Rating: 5.0

I walked where echoes softly blend,
Through time's embrace, where dreamers wend.
Shakespeare's breath still stirred the air,
A childhood wish fulfilled with prayer.

Within the courtyard, still and wise,
A statue watched with ageless eyes.
Tagore, in marble, stood serene,
A bridge between the worlds unseen.

'Where the mind is without fear, '—his song,
A whispered flame, forever strong.
And Shakespeare's verses, vast and deep,
Like ocean waves began to sweep.

Their words entwined, like twilight's hue,
As wisdom bathed the world anew.
A mystic pulse, unseen yet bright,
Dissolved the dark, dissolved the night.

No border held, no fate confined,
Just boundless soul, just endless mind.
And in that space, both vast and free,
I touched the pulse of poetry.
