Whirlpool Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

Whirlpool

Rating: 5.0

Round and round that thought went
Touching each corner of her mind
Till she sat and wrote it down
Evaluating the pros and cons
Deciding the future course of action

There was such relief after that
As if she has finally anchored it
And by anchoring, controlled it
Come what may now
She is ready to tackle it

That was the advice her father gave
Write it down, he used to say
Let your feelings flow into the paper
Ebbing the pressure on your mind
And she follows it, long after he is gone

What a wonderful thought that can take us to a great journey in life. Some of the lines resonate with me. Brilliantly expressed. Top Marks! ! !
