We also have these tests of patience in Seattle, but luckily we will soon enter into our rainless season. After 80 days without a raindrop, we begin to sympathize with the thirst of plants.
It is hard to like, but you do like it, and that's what I like about this poem. Having one's patience tested when you are grateful for the overall relation...this is a sign of life.
