While Waiting For Death Poem by Yehualashet Teshome

While Waiting For Death

I don't know
Maybe amnesia
Found myself here
Born on this planet
A human
I lived
While waiting for death
So, I took many roles
A father, a son, a husband
An uncle and so on
Just to pass the time
To kill boredom
While waiting for death
Which would take me
Back to eternal life
