'Where's The Sun? ' Poem by james watkin

'Where's The Sun? '

Sunny one, truant again. A not so
Naughty face of day were he
Balking light's and heat's assignments, o'erlooked
At the Winter academy.

But this is Summer's! More, demanded;
Appraised of strict girls and boys!
Straight A's bestowed for rackety beaches.
For bat on ball's joy-sent noise.
