Where You Are? Poem by Mahnoor Fatima

Where You Are?

My guiding star, where you are
I searched you near and far
With a thirst that never subside
Delve deep in my heart inside

I ask from velvet petals,
The jumping stars, smiling moon
But they give me no sign
I call you loud from my heart inside

Without you I'm like a ship without shore
Just demanding from god golden moments more
With cloud surrounding mine I cry
God help me, don't let her say goodbye

Without you I'm lost and blue
Life turned into ebbs and flow
Sun without glow
Trees in autumn desperate to grow

Where you are?
Where you are?
My lovely, lovely
Mom where you are?
