'' Where There's A Will There's A Way '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Where There's A Will There's A Way ''

Human nature dictates,
What one loves one hates,
Be it religion or the subject of race,
The pessimist awaits,
Those dire straits,
While the optimist sees a different face.

Be you black or white,
You're a beautiful sight,
Where would we be without colour,
Let's make it right,
What we are should excite,
Without pigments life would be duller.

Religion is yours,
If it reassures,
Whom you worship is entirely your choice,
What really endures,
Is what it procures,
The freedom to pray and rejoice.

Take fashion trends,
Among good friends,
What you wear I'd throw in the bin,
It pays dividends,
To peace it lends,
If we concur then everyone can win.

If we could only see,
We won't always agree,
But conflict is never the answer,
Let's set ourselves free,
Then you and me,
Can rid ourselves of this cancer.

Together as one,
Let's consider it done,
United we can start this today,
When hatred we shun,
World peace has begun,

As we once again head into dangerous times is it not time to reflect on our ability to cure rather than kill.
