Where There Is Hope... Poem by Asma Khan

Where There Is Hope...

Visit my heart someday
after dark dreams silently sway

There is a secret behind this silent catastrophe
beyond the break of freedom and being free

Who has adorned in the moonlight's veil?
each night I hear new folktale

I alone bring everything into question
nothing can stand before the time's auction

Many might have heard a call from the heaven
soon I would be over this burden

A little here, a little there, just wait
to see wonders hidden in the hands of your fate

Follow not me, nor go away from him
time's light will fall on what's dim

Make no haste but stay quiet and contained
those who follow time, never complained

Time has no brain nor memory
Forget being glassy-eyed, set yourself free
