Such a lovely poem. Reminds me of my home in Galveston. Which I always long for, but now is somewhat a sadder place.

Wonderful escapism to be able to fly so high as the wild seagulls and hear their haunting cry! Amazing rhythm and flow!

I have never thought the sea gulls could fly so well. I would like to presume one Valerie from Southport could give them a great company.. I am afraid to fly unlike you and Valsa though.

This is an amazing write! Lifting the soul to magical realms! Let me also join you in your aerial journey along with the flying flock of seagulls... Val and Val hand in hand? ?

Excellent. How well you have penned the yearning of the Self [soul] to free itself and soar high: 'Beyond all things that serve to bind'... and 'And higher still to realms unknown To mortal men below'.................. and then again the last stanza: - ' May air as sweet as angels' breath .....Enfold me ever more' YOU ARE AMAZINGLY AMAZINGLY VERSATILE, VAL.

Is there any subject you cannot make into a beautiful rhyme? I think not; this one is really peaceful.....

I love the cry of the gulls - something mystical about them. Such a good poem, I can almost feel the salty spray of the sea.

The Sea, the Wind, the Wild Gulls, Will most certainly make you free. Imagination what a sensation. We can go, we can fly without a plane, without a ship and have a glorious trip. I really enjoyed this poem airy, salty full of beauty, nature and life, far away from the civilized hipe.So natural and lovely in its simplicity. Those are the best ones, thank you
