i was conscious; so i kept my ears opened- - it is amazing how little we actually do that. We walk about our lives not seeing what we see and therefore drawing no message or conclusions from the things we see or hear or taste or smell. If only we would remind ourselves that our days are numbered so we should treasure them much much more than we do! Excellent philosophical and poetic piece!
We can't fulfill, in many times, our desires.....consciously we suppress our unconscious to harmony with society....hence the mismatch between heart and tongue, inner and outer world, conscious and unconscious, ideal and practicality.... a nice poem sir which obviously reminds Freud's theory.....thanks for sharing....
It has been a long time since you've written a new poem- -I hope you haven't left the group. Please post your greedy readers some new poems!
