Yes, fire speaks! To distinguish the real from the apparent. Where dried and withered leaves do not fade. A secret place where death is not conqueror but conquered Fire-proof Life! A beautiful poem, very rich in thought contents and deep in its meanings. The second half of the poem becomes mystic with a unique concept of eternity. It is the fire of ishq(Great Love) submerged in the heart of a sufi which makes the men absorbed into the creator. It could be the Light that Moses saw at Mount Senai too. Part of this poem is really a great write. I like to read your poems, Obed. You are one of my favourites on this site. Keep writing and sharing with us your poetic wisdom and insight. Best Wishes Naseer
