Where Is The Rhyme Poem by soren Barrett

Where Is The Rhyme

You never let the rhyme fall on the first word
Too clever, is not sublime but, of all, highly absurd
There you could see a rhyme in the middle, if you will it
Where 'twould be a crime not to fiddle, so as to fill it
Emphasize, instead, the end of what's heard in each line
Anesthetize, I said, my friend, the first word and all will be fine
