Where Is The Lodestar? Poem by Hebert Logerie

I just learned a new word
I am now a lodestar
I am good. Oh! My Lord
It's time to raise the bar
Too many liars are running the country
This is a joke, a mockery or a comedy
Too many dishonest people are in charge
I don't remember if Nixon got a discharge
Anyhow, the Prez. said that he wasn't a thief
Yet he had to resign; he quit like a bad chief
An unindicted co-conspirator ought to be impeached
Because the evidence is overwhelming. A leech
Is a blood sucker, a liar or a parasite
Let's denounce the bullies on the website
Leave the lodestar alone
Let he/she hide under the stone
The NY Times is on a roll
