Where Is Civilization? Poem by james watkin

Where Is Civilization?

Midst car's roar, gun's rage, bounces off
Each skyscraper
Where is civilization
And its dweller?

Twixt green hills, maybe. Flourishing
In peace, for sure.
More conscious of God's witness
And star's, twinkling;
Rural days, nights. Tongue-dipped in
Stream's speech; as pure.
