It sounds to me like you are a real giver who can't stop giving.Nothing wrong with that, but please remember yourself through all this between the times that you see your family. The fact that they are trying out life for themselves means that the confidence has come from somewhere.We've all done it.But I really do understand the pain in this and truly share your feelings.Love Duncan

Rosie, I think I hear the empty nest talking here, but just remember: this is all your own fault! ! Yeah, right, because you reared these kiddos to be strong, independent people able to go out on their own. Just relax and enjoy the peace, and they will come back soon. Scarlett

This is so sad, but very well written. My daughter is now sixteen and I guess it is just the normal progression of life that she leave and make her own way. I don't look forward to it though. Nice work here! - TGR
