We often put ourselves into senseless competitions to make our lives tougher and clumsier. You have brought this point home succinctly. A well written poem. I rate it 9/10. 'Beggars we are, imprisoned in our blind pursuits, Dwarfed in our conscience, and the ego speaks it all! ' True, the 'blind pursuits' dwarf our conscience. 'Enemies we make, more than friends in our endeavors Yes, we are slaves, slaves in an endless competition! ' A deep thought, a point to ponder. Greetings and wishes for a very happy new year.
