They come out here in July, and sometimes the cornfields just seem ablaze with them. It would be a sad sort of affairs should they suddenly fade away. A thought provoking write Cynthia. It is sad to see so many of life's pleasures are disappearing. I recently wrote a poem about Fireflies titled FASCINATION. How coincidental is that! LOL! Great minds thing alike. I love your style. Blessings, Rob

A really beautiful and thoughtful poem. Our children will miss out on so much because of the state of our world. And may i say thankyou very much for your comments about me as a poet. I am the same as you, i like to read a poem and enjoy and understand what i'm reading.
