When You're Not Poem by Susheela Alexiose

When You're Not

Rating: 5.0

When you're not in my life,
I fail to smile, laugh or talk.

When you're not in my life,
I fail to sleep or take a nap.

When you're not in my life,
I fail to move on.

My whole life shuts down,
My entire being cease to work,
'cause some how you
became part of my being!

A vivid depiction on how love could affect our very being. The closure lines say it all. A heartfelt and well expressed poem.
