Hey, Valsa! I think of Basho’s advice to poets to compose quickly. I imagine he had in mind riding on the Muses’s exhaled breath similar to what you picture here. With me I wait to see the bees and the ordered flight they make. Interesting, yes? , and challenging the craft of writing poetry. May our butterfly nets be ready and without holes. -Glen

Once more a lovely poem from a master crafter. Of course muse should always have a welcome mat in a poet’s heart. Nothing’s fills a poet more than the joy of flowing words inspired by muse’s arrival. Thank you Valsa for sharing an inspiring poem.

When and how does the muse of a poet or poetess come has been huntingly and touchingly portrayed by u dear madam. Let me quote some lines......... My Muse, like a sweet temptress, came to me To set this captive free, to give free rein to my fancy... .................................................................................... When your Muse comes knocking at your door Delay her not, but let her in And go for a merry ride with her Marvelous poem. Thanks.

Very much commendable...you have a great skill of describing the content with similes and metaphors too colourfully...the personified Muse and the matching photo are beautiful...very inspiring

Your Muse is like a sweet temptress…beautiful faculty of poetic imagination! It’s a fabulous poem, well structured and elegantly dressed! The stream of thoughts transcends in gradual pattern in a befitting schema! My favorite lines: ‘When your Muse comes knocking at your door/Delay her not, but let her in/And go for a merry ride with her/Into some sleepy glades where silence resides’. Amazing ink! (10)
