When You Said I Love You Poem by james watkin

When You Said I Love You

Rating: 4.0

Most regal of words, that in reverence only
That with much trembling is received.
As though knighted dear, was I brought into
Its acknowledgement, having believed

In the noble task these, your tears to dry
In the daring act that, your life
To ride out with, delivering it from
Locked hours, for loneliness rife.
