the sun shines down
it tickles my skin
and hugs my heart.
it holds me close
and keeps me warm.
when you are near you do the same,
but whhen your gone
there is no pain.
you let me know that you will be home
close to me.
i know that i can trust you
though there seems no good reason why.
all i need to know is that
when the sun shines down you are there too.
and now i know that even on a cloudy day you are there
ready to come home.
