When You Love Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

When You Love

Rating: 5.0

When you love, you don't think of anything grand,
But what good might be for the beloved
What makes them happy
How close they stand with God.
Of course, when you love, you want to give your all,
Even kingdoms. But how frail is man?
Rather - give what you can hold, what you can reach
For them -
When you love - you let them be what they are,
What they can be, cite what they might win.
Days are fleeting, yet when you love,
Days become forever
Tiny deeds turn big
A minute changes to seasons.
Nothing grand,
But time, things, and people you touch
Feels so right, just so bright!
Electrifying and impeccable,
God does it all, when you love.
