When you finally must leave;
When there are no more moments available
to spend with me,
I just want you to know
My tears are a disguise for the happiness
I feel for you,
in doing what you feel necessary.
When you finally walk away
and I don't feel you by my side,
I just want you to know
it's not the end of the beginning,
but only the beginning of the future.
At times, we must overcome tests
beyond emotional comprehension,
before we realize where we're meant to be all along.
On one morning, I'll wake up
and feel completely certain you're not coming back
for a far journey's length of time..
And only on that morning, I'll learn to accept it...
That'll be the morning my mind will confirm with my heart..
Feelings and thoughts will intertwine.
So, you see, I've got a journey to take
the whole time you're traveling yours...
The two individual, stubborn parts of me
will attempt to force me into accepting something
I never thought I would have to face.
