When you discover those long cuts Poem by Elisa Biagini

When you discover those long cuts

Rating: 3.5

When you discover those long cuts,
sheets of paper or blade of grass,
you barely touch
and it's full blood:
your words
straight to the dead zones
the shaded areas
thin and silent as needles,

I find myself covered
and didn't know.

Translation: 2004, Elisa Biagini
