When You Are Too Rich Poem by Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu

When You Are Too Rich

When you are too Rich

When you are too rich,
You have monies everywhere
You have houses everywhere
Houses that in a year no one visits,
Houses that when you seldom enter, all the rooms will be smelling dust and shades with cobwebs,
Houses that even the keys can't open, unless you oil it or break it.

When you are too rich,
You have cars more than Ford and Benz' companies combine,
Cars whose doors are not opened in 10 months,
Some whose tires are flat and you don't care but they are just there and you are adding more.

When you are too rich,
You have clothes everywhere, clothes that in six years you won't think of wearing and yet you are buying more.

When you are too rich,
You have lands everywhere, land you won't use in 50 years!
You have companies everywhere, you just want the money to be flowing in.

When you are too rich you buy food stuffs and in six months you throw them into the bin,
You buy gifts for who doesn't need them, because they are rich also or powerful.

When you are too rich,
You become a fool
You become mad
But you don't even know it.
