Oh my goodness. I love this it brought back so many memories. I met my husband in the 8th grade. It is wonderful to be married to your best friend. Thank you for reminding me.

True love is like that as you depicted in your poetry. What one goes through for the other's affection is so sad sometimes. This work reminds me of a chapter in Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace of Nicolas seeing Princes Mary for the first time, but that she had to wait for his love till he came back from the war.

Mr. Austin, This poem reminds me so much of my husband and I. We have been married for 18 wonderful years and we too were married young(he18 and I 17) , I know alot of people probably thought it wouldn't work but, if it is true love and you know it, nothing can stop that.
