When Two Become One Poem by DM W

When Two Become One

As the sovereign light emanates
From the room into the garden,
Your face so young & ancient,
Is transfigured in the moment.

In the midst of this grace filled presence
Eyes meet eyes as if for the first time.
The boundaries dissolve between us.
Two become one as solitude dies.
