'When The Heavens Shall Unroll Like A Scroll' Poem by james watkin

'When The Heavens Shall Unroll Like A Scroll'

Beyond what is, with hours'
Expectancy, sun-bright
In a cloud's homespun sheets
Of mystificating
Perpetual faith accords light
To its divine veiling.

In what is, of today's sky
Ript forecast, an echo
Where warblers down-convey
Sun's heartening essence
Men warm to a crescendo
Shook out from God's presence*
