When The Heart Is Imprisoned With Regrets Poem by Phenomenal Giftson Asunluya

When The Heart Is Imprisoned With Regrets

My greatest mistake in life was keeping you in the dark about my feelings for you
Not telling you that I was chronically in love with you

You embed in the most sacred part of my heart
The severity of which, that still perseveres

I truly can not articulate the spectrum of emotions I was processing during the acute phase

But I am quite sure it was something that was sufficient to cause my lungs to blow up.
All because my love remained unsaid.
