When The Heart Decides Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

When The Heart Decides

My whole area was asleep
Even the thunderous sound of a jeep
Could wake up no brain from sleep
Eyes were closed from weep
As I heard the beep of my heartbeat

I was poised to go
And nothing would stop the move
What is at stake I never knew!
But my instincts told me to go
And I went.
