When Storms Come Poem by Dorsey Baker

When Storms Come

Sometimes I think
we become numb to life
when storms come
I think
they wake us
and make us realize
how precious and wonderful
life is
that we should appreciate it more
when storms come
sometimes causing
death and destruction
they let us know
how fragile life is
when storms come
they can blow
away your house
but if you survive the storm
you can find a way
to build another one!
