When Snakes Have To Crawl Poem by Dorsey Baker

When Snakes Have To Crawl

Trying to climb out
of the snake pit of darkness
the snakes crawl
hear them hiss
they cling to the wall
surely its hit and miss
a snake pit full
of snakes
they've got what it takes
to get themselves out!
