When Silence Awakens Poem by Mystic Qalandar

When Silence Awakens

The sun opens its silent eye,
born from the womb of night.
This is no ordinary light—
a sacred presence
descends upon
the mirror of being.

All things rest
in a single, subtle breath—
earth and water, dry and flowing—
each absorbed in remembrance.
The waterfall, counting ancient beads,
softly repeats
the song of forever.

No moment of day,
no pause of night—
this, an unveiling beyond time.
Stillness of the sea
conceals the secret of motion.
Some waves fold into the shore,
others vanish
in the valley of disappearance.

When gentle rays pierce the walls,
knock softly
on birds' waking lashes,
they become grateful songs.
Air vibrates with their praise—
as if each breath
conceals a rosary.

The reality of self—
beyond space and season—
ever wakeful,
silent, limitless, luminous.
The touch upon my brow
leads me to that promise
where Alast still echoes
sweetly in creation.

Words fall away.
No need for intention.
When the inner hearing stirs,
silence becomes
the language of truth.

Love—
a fleeting brilliance
crossing the deserts
of non-being.
I awaken
at the frontier of surrender,
on the gentle edge of light.

In the mirror of silence
I recognized—
love is the quiet radiance,
never revealed,
yet giving meaning
to everything.
