Loved reading this. Do you really want to befriend...... I have a feeling that at subterranean level we all atheists are believers.

Good luck with your befriending Dinesh, but I suspect it will not happen - like you, I am atheistic.

Deep, complex and searching for something to believe in and to have faith that somebody is watching over you when your darkest, moments torment you and seem to cast you aside, a plea for peace and a sanctuary to heal your wounded soul! Brilliant write! !

This poem can be interpreted in many ways...! Apparently it is about a meeting of the protagonist with an ideal or person which he hopes would open up a new sky for him.... At a deeper level... this can be the quest of a seeker after an abstract or real entity whose presence, he is not fully convinced of... but the rest of the world keeps telling, it is there whose very sight is believed to dispel all gloom and brighten the dark paths....! However the protagonist eagerly awaits the impactful encounter!

The horror of an abyss unfathomed! That's horrible my friend. Don't get there. I extend my hand. You are my friend. Let us be friends.
