If I depart today, lay my body to rest,
No tears, no sorrow, no pain, no unrest.
Celebrate my life, for I've lived free and clear,
No regrets, no debts, no burdens to fear.

If dawn never breaks for me again,
Don't mourn, don't weep, don't sorrow in vain.
I've lived, I've loved, I've laughed, I've grown,
My time was precious, but now it's gone.

When my breath ceases, don't stress, don't anxiety,
Kneel, pray, and ask that my soul be received in eternity.
I belong to heaven, my spirit was conceived,
In a realm beyond this world, where love and peace are received.

When my eyes close in death, know I'm no longer here,
My pilgrimage on earth is done, my journey's clear.
I'll reach the crossroads, where life and death entwine,
One path leads to eternity, the other to decline.

Speak to me now, while I can hear,
Teach me, guide me, while I'm still near.
A battery powers my heart, but one day it will fade,
Unlike a phone, it can't be replaced, my heart will be stilled and laid.

If tomorrow never comes, if the sun never rises high,
Know that our memories will remain, forever in the sky.
