Patti, I think this is a fantastic poem, saying exactely what we feel about these tragic moments of loss.! 6 years after I lost my mother, I still connect to this poem completely. Her invisible eyes, ... I loved reading the whole piece and while reading, hoped it would go on and on. I am trying to pass the values and all the nice things of her to my children, my patients, my students, my friends. I am hoping and trying to mulitply her goodness and live on together with her in the hearts I hope to touch forever.
