The poet says, 'From books and teachers I learned of life' but I forgot everything when love opened the door. A unique poem. Loved the liquid movement of words from top to bottom. A fabulous poem.

From books and teachers I learned of life, But nothing prepared me for The thrill and wondrous joy that I felt When, so gently, Love opened the door.... You have personified Love here. i imagined as i read your poem that Love as a beloved person stands at your door. yes it is thrill, it i s joy, it is tremendous happiness if you at all meet with a real love. God bless you to meet this love in your life.

Not long ago, after bitter disappointment, I had locked the door very tight. Yet, love still found a way to open the door. The last two lines are so very true.

You've brought to life the power of love, and how it can open our heart to the world. I shall enjoy reading this again as one of my favourite poems.

Though the words of your poems can sometimes disappoint as with 'soul' and 'unfold, ' your courage and willingness to accept imperfection in yourself and in others is a joy to both see and experience (when it is directed at me at least.) The feelings and the truth of your work are rarely matched on PH however and the clarity of thought is always that of a fresh mountain spring. Live well and prosper Lora Colon.
