When Love Dies Poem by SylvaOnyema (SUPER.T) Ubah

When Love Dies

Rating: 5.0

When love dies
Respect
creeps into the lake

When love dies
To say I love you
Becomes a heavy mountain

When love dies
Smiling faces
Turns to monkey

When love dies
To say thank you
Becomes as hard as a stone

When love dies
Friends become foes

When love dies
Love dies
Like a death sentence

When love dies
The graveyard dies too

An insightful depiction of loss of fascination and ugly consequences which follow the exit of love are aptly captured in the poem. Thanks for sharing Uba.
