You never know from where and how
love arrives at your doorsteps
Caught unawares, you are hesitant to welcome it with open arms
And as you manage to recover from the rude shock, the first thing every love asks is,
Can you jump from the window for me?
Can you stab your heart for me?
Very few can resist saying, I cannot!
When love arrives on your doorstep, it will not leave you soon.
It takes you to the tallest of mountains, the deepest of valleys, meanders through the time like a river,
and is vast and deep as the ocean.
It has the audacity to knock at the door of your heart out of the blue
and wants to know if you will fly with it,
jump with it, climb or drown with it.
And yes, every love gives you enough time to die for it!
