When Life Sucks Poem by Satish Verma

When Life Sucks

You want to change the
world after taking sleeping pills.
I was missing the keys.

I will keep on the peacock
feathers to forget the dragon's blood.
You were reluctant to prove yourself.

Collect the bright moongrass
and hawthorn berries. When you
laugh they pour like jasmine flowers.
