Till subtle changes come bubbling to the surface; When intimacy turns into indifference. Till your close friends just drift away; When intimacy turns into indifference. Realities of life and the life of expectations and sadness.. tony

Cold waves for every heated earth is a must. All colours fade one day. But the fading colour of intimacy hurts. A beautiful way of presenting the slow changing over warmth of relationship. Well done Ma'am. Thanks for the sharing.

In the passing of time intimacy turns into indifference or vice versa. Dear Jasbir madam, you have so nicely inscribed here, let it be quoted few lines... Time just flows past And you never notice Till your close friends just drift away; When intimacy turns into indifference. It is beautiful philosophical poem. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jasbir, Time just flows past And you never notice Till your close friends just drift away; Just common in anybody's life. But the void it creates, is irreparable: When intimacy turns into indifference. Beautifully rendered..

Intimate relationships need to be nurtured at all times to maintain its bliss. Lose of fascination usually result to indifference. Insightful piece of poetry well penned. Thanks for sharing Jasbir.

Time just flows past And you never notice Till one’s cross feels too heavy; When intimacy turns into indifference. when intimacy turns into difference.. is it not a great reality of life that you try to portray? be always loving, caring and give a smile always. then you wil not be alone in life. we all need a bit of love and we go on searching for it everywhere. is it not true?

It is so much of a pain when intimacy turns into indifference.... This change may not be sudden, but over the years there is a gradual dwindling of warmth in relations and we never notice it until all those dear ones who have been intimate once become quite cold and strange! Great write!

I have taken this poem as a philosophy that can be generalized on the entire universe. Any thing or a person at a distance appears beautiful, but when it comes close enough we start watching the negative aspects of it. If it is merely a thing you can get rid of it, if he is a person having blood relation ship it is not difficult for you to ignore the negative aspects. The actual problem arises in the relations of two friends or that of a couple. If it is a friend you are shocked to loose him, but if he or she is your spouse you start regretting your past when he or she started coming in your life. If love is a true love, I mean acceptance of each other with not only the positive aspects but with the negative aspects, too, the indifference starts dying. The marriage is saved for the welfare of coming generations, a sacrifice, the climax of love.

I feel the profoundness of this poem in the religious connection that it has to it.
