This is what I call fab...fab.... fabulous. You remind me of those good old times. Kudos John! We need more of this.
I absolutely loved the lines 'When I was a child and had no shame and no worries We would sit by the moonlight On bare ground and tease ourselves a story' and the juxtaposition with the 2nd stanza night no fear predator imagery.
Childhood poems can be a joy to wrote,13 years now since I wrote 'Childhood Memories One: Great Spirit Of Childhood Adventures', 'Childhood Memories Two: Flight Of Bumble Bees', 'Childhood Memories Three: Bumble Bees In Space' and 'Childhood Memories Four: Dances With Gravity.
