Beautiful tribute to Edgar Allan Poe. I had to refresh my memory of ‘ Annabel Lee’ to fully enjoy this poem. Thanks for sharing.

I reread Poe before I read your poem and the style was impressive. It did feel like Poe. Who says sequels aren't good?

We're changing your name to GOLDWOLFE. Or maybe PLATINUMWOLFE. you captured Poe's style better than could be imagined. A Collection Of Great Masterpieces, By E. A. POE has been my favorite book since high school. believe it or not, I worked for five years for steven allen poe, Edgars great, great grandson.he couldn't write a poem if he tried! Bravo again, my literary genius!

There is fantastic depth to this poem, but the story is not clouded by it. Wonderful.

edgar allen endured the tragic play of the soul going into dark underpass, knowing full well where the railroad tracks came to a dead end, maybe the fact that there are somewhere 25,000,000,000 billion hands hungry in this world. but even if the sky is really on fire, and the dream is deliberately tired, we can at least, since our previous lives, like the sound of sleep on the other side of the oceans - maybe to look as beautiful as a young man's heart we cannot fill up, like a moon with one side dried up - this poem has its balance two, three, and even four times read, reminds us all to sing, love, and wish, to glint on the ripples and be ready for tomorrow

This is one of your best. The rhymes don't feel forced and the imagery and descriptions helped me feel the weight of longing and yet somehow lit up the poem. Again wonderful job.
