A narrative of distress in the bliss of love. A nice poem from the heart. Lovely. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
This is a cute poem, that seems to have just smoothly flown out from your heart. I liked the somber mood, the rhythm and the flow. The title is attractive. 'You didn't read in-between The girl I showed and the heart inside I played it cool, as a weak little fool You name it, I did it All for you my love, my soul' - So beautiful! Loved it.
:) one sided love hurts..: D but a nice experience! i really like your poem! ! with a lovely flow...
Reminiscence of childhood love something we all go thru and you present it all, you present it as it was makes us all so naive but that is true of childhood love...well spoken...regards
What a lovely flow, nice, excellent, its so natural and wonderful in details
I too wrote a FIRST LOVE EXPERIENCE poem, called HALF-TURNED PAGES. I put much time and effort into it, but I rarely re-read it because it's too painful to remember even decades later and (I dislike admitting this!) we should let go of impossible desires. To make free space for new desires (?) . But your poem contains insight into our common emotional lives: LIVING IN A HEAVEN WITHIN A HELL - What a brilliant metaphor! It shows both the lure and the danger of Love, the sweetest experience can become the bitterest. At the very end, you suggest a sort of resolution of the heart-ache: this first love experience provides you with a inner paradigm of the possibilities of love, by which future experiences can be measured and assessed as worthy. That is a priceless resource.
