Somewhat corny and boring. The lack of solid images hurts this verse. It really does sound like sentiment you would find in a Hallmark card.

True love will not see the person outside but whats in. A hope I think we all share. Once again very good composition. Clearly the reason it's in the top 500

Well you have not lost your stride dear friend. The one thing I missed most when I left here a couple of years ago wa you and your poems. I am back again. I removed the vote thingy so feel more protected now. My poems are up and although a few only, I will still enjoy being here to read your great work. This is as I remember. an outstanding piece filled with genuine love and warmth. Good to be back and great to read your beautiful poems again. HUGS

'Will you still need me, will you still love me, when I'm 64' once sang The Beatles...This poem goes so far beyond the words in the line above..It is perhaps the most beautiful tribute to lasting love that I've ever read and I've read and attempted to write many love poems...This poem begs to be remembered. to be held close, to believe again, that, YES, there really is everlasting love, for some. I thank you for this unrateable as there is no number high enough to give it but I went for the ten, unlike some jealous idiot at some point in time...I've read many of your poems lately and you are what a POET is! ! ! ~~~~~marci.xo. :)

I'll carry this poem inside of me for a very long time, Herbert. What an extremely lucky woman! ! If all men who had their loves, would write to them like this, then divorce rates would have to fall! ! ! xxElysabeth

When I am sixty four I hope I don't confuse romantic perspective like you have with redundancy.
